Description

HISTORY

The Gordon clan is believed to have been from Anglo-Norman decent, moving from the Borders to Aberdeenshire. The earliest record of the family was Richer de Gordum  in 1150 and 1160 with the monks of St Mary at Kelso.

The Gordon Modern tartan is similar to the Ancient pattern but with a deeper green.
